365 Days Of Love
“Whatever Souls Are Made Of, Mine & His Are The Same”
A year ago today Alex and I said: “I Do”. My how time flies! As I sit here trying to find the words to describe our first year of marriage the only things that come to mind are memories from our last year together and all the little things that make me love this man so much. In honor of our one year anniversary, I’m sharing a glimpse of our one-year anniversary photos and some fun facts about Alex & I. Enjoy!
Alex and I were together for 10 years before we decided to marry. You see, we are not exactly a traditional couple lol. We were just two people in love, living life. I don’t think that either of us kept track of the time, and in the blink of an eye, we were at 10 years together. It feels surreal to be celebrating our one year anniversary.
We celebrated our one-year anniversary with a styled photoshoot. The perfect excuse to wear my wedding dress again and eat some cake!
A special thanks to Zai, for capturing the magic!

Me & You, Just Us Two
Our first year as husband and wife has been incredible. Truly nothing compares to doing life with someone that just gets you! It has been an incredible journey, filled with amazing adventures. This year we built some pretty amazing memories, that I will forever be fond of. As a couple, we continue to grow each day and learn from one another.
Love is hard, just like anything worthwhile in life. It requires commitment, understanding and a lot of patience. You are not always going to agree with each other, but it’s important to listen to each other. Remember to do life with the guy you can’t live without.
Let Them Eat Cake
I had the best intentions to preserve the top tier of our wedding cake, however, my tummy had other plans lol. Sadly our top tier did not survive past our wedding night. Luckily for me, my dear friend Jen, founder and owner of Johnson’s Custom Cakes was able to recreate one for our one-year anniversary shoot. According to sources, preserving the top tier of your wedding cake and eating it a year later is known as an omen for good luck.
I can’t sit here and say that it has bee the best year ever. Because every single year we have spent together has been the absolute best for me. Even our most difficult years, I love dearly. Our difficult times have shape us into who we are today as a couple, and honey I couldn’t be more proud of us. Together we have conquered so much, we have been broken and we have rebuilt ourselves, we have been down and gotten up. We have lost it all and gained so much more. I can’t wait for the next 50 years. Happy Anniversary to us, love of my life.
