Fall Fashion

“Don’t be into trends. Don’t let Fashion own you, but you decide what you are” ~ Gianni Versace

Happy Sunday, and the first day of October Bellas! (insert heart eyes emoji here) my favorite month has arrived. Although I reside in the sunshine state, and we don’t really get the full Fall experience; I still enjoy transitioning my closet into a more appropriate Floridian Fall style (got to make the best out of it).  I love Fall Fashion, hands down my favorite! I’m all about dark colors and cozy sweaters.Today I’ll be sharing with you the first look of the season. I’ve always been a lover of Vintage and timeless pieces, and thanks to my mom I was able to put this look together. So let’s jump in the time machine and take it back with this look!

“Happy Picnic Season”

With Fall lurking just around the corner, I’m determined to enjoy the last days of summer and wear every maxi I own in the next 4-5 weeks. Ok, that’s impossible, I own a lot of maxis lol, but I’ll try my very best. Summer days are now numbered, and soon autumn will be marking its presence with grayer skies and shorter sunny days. As for me, I intend to fit in as many afternoon picnics as I can before that happens. I truly love summer, and I can’t believe that summer is almost over, it has gone by so quickly. Today, I’m sharing tips to make your own summer picnic a total success, and enjoy some outdoor fun. Read on for full details!

 Cartagena De Indias

Hola Bellas! I’m sorry I have been a little MIA in the last couple of days, but with my besties wedding, things have been a little hectic around here. I finally got some time this week to sit down and write a quick blog for you guys on my most recent adventure. So back in November last year my bestie got engaged! As the preparations for the wedding began the big question arose, what to do for the bachelorette?

My bestie loves to travel, so taking a trip somewhere was a must. For a while she had her eye on Cartagena, so she brought it up to our attention and the planning began!  We opted for a tropical theme, very fun and rich in color, just like Cartagena. I’m actually planning to do a separate blog for you guys on the Bachelorette planning, so be on the lookout for that! On today’s blog, I’ll share the details on some of the activities we did, restaurants, hotel, and some travel tips. So take a seat, and get ready for taking off! Today we are traveling to Cartagena De Indias!

The Red, White & So Cute!

Rock the red, white, and blue palette this Fourth of July!

Fourth of July is all about flaunting your American pride, soaking in the sun, and enjoying a good old American BBQ with family and friends! But just like any other celebrated Holiday, we want the perfect outfit for it.  Whether you are attending a house gathering, pool party, BBQ or going out to watch the fireworks. Rocking your red, white and blue on the fourth of July is a must. Although the Fourth of July has a bit of a restricted color palette the combination possibilities are endless. If you are not up for the three color combination you can always tone it down to a two-color combination, or even just one. On today’s blog, I bring you three looks for the upcoming holiday. So let’s get fashionably patriotic, and celebrate America The Great in style!

The Must-Have This Summer!

Aloha Bellas!

Let’s talk summer fashion and must-have accessories in sunny South Florida! I don’t know about you guys, but I’m ready to put on a cute bikini with a fabulous hat, and permanently camp at the beach with my bubbly and floaty.  I know what you guys are probably thinking. We haven’t gotten through spring and I’m already talking about summer.

Although I do love my spring ruffles and colorful dresses, there is just something about the summer warmth that is mesmerizing. Perhaps is the soft cotton, gentle fabrics, or the comfortable maxis we get to wear in the summer days. Summer looks are all about being comfortable, practical, and keeping it casual. But why not add a splash of fabulous to the summer look? So read on if you want the 411 on what is going to be your favorite accessory this season

Just Another Wedding Wednesday Brides

Weddings are full of fun traditions. Among my personal favorites is the “Something old, new, borrowed and blue.” It was once thought that this tradition would bring good luck to the bride on her special day. So, when my time came to get married, I knew from the beginning that I would follow this very special tradition. On today’s blog, I’ll share my something old, new, borrowed and blue. Read on to get the full scoop!

Capturing Life

“You never understand life until it grows inside of you”

It’s been said that you don’t know true love until you become a parent, and I’ve seen this incredible love grow in my dearest friend Mariana since the day she found out she was going to be a mom. This past weekend, with the help of the incredibly talented Michell, a dear friend, and founder and owner of Cherry Blossom Studio, I had the honor of doing Mariana’s maternity pictures. It was truly one of the best days of my life.

We spent an afternoon strolling around Palm Beach island, looking for hidden corners to snap the perfect shots—and boy did we find some really good ones! Those who know me closely know that, for as long as I can remember, photography has been a passion of mine, and this year, I finally decided to start dedicating some time to it.

Mariana, thank you for allowing me to be a part of something so special. You know how much your happiness means to me, and I’m so happy to have been able to share this with you.

Michell, I can’t thank you enough for always pushing me to chase my dreams and goals, your support, and your inspiration. I couldn’t have done it without you. THANK YOU! From the bottom of my heart. You continue to inspire me in ways I can’t even put into words.

Bellas, here are some of my favorites, along with a fun questionnaire I had the parents complete for us. I hope you guys enjoy these as much as I enjoyed taking them.

celebrate-cinco-de-mayo-in-style

¡Hola Amigas!

Feliz Cinco De Mayo! Let’s celebrate by getting inspired by this colorful celebration of Mexican culture with bold designs, bright colors, bohemian jewelry that make a statement, and fresh flowers. Cinco de Mayo remembers the cause of freedom and democracy of Mexico in the Puebla battle. Today is a celebration in honor of the Mexican heritage and pride. Let’s get inspired by the fun colorful culture of our Southern neighbor.
